Meridian Creek Ranch Hunt Policy Whitetail & Exotics Cost of hunt: Whitetail trophy - $3,500; Exotics - $1,600 to $3,500. No trophy fees; guide fees additional $100 per day. (see below). I. After receiving a booking deposit of $750 for exotics; $1500 for whitetail; hunter will be sent confirmation of deposit and the date(s) of hunt. II. Arrival time is after noon (p.m.) the day prior to the hunt. This allows time to check hunter’s weapon, settling in and relaxation in preparation for a three-day hunt or until harvesting of hunter’s animal. Your hunt fee balance is due upon arrival at ranch. III. After the last hunt, hunter may stay overnight at NO extra charge, but hunter must vacate the premises by 10:00 a.m. to allow Meridian Creek Ranch to prepare for the next hunt. IV. All hunts are guided and only mature whitetail deer and/or trophy exotics, (according to hunt purchased), will be harvested. Guide has authority to disallow the harvest of any animal. Guide’s decision is final. Guide fee for all hunts is $100 per day and is NOT included in your Trophy hunt fee. You will only be charged for the days you hunt. Max of $300 for a three day hunt. V. No alcoholic beverages allowed in the field. VI. Upon harvest of hunter’s animal, photos will be taken. The animal will be field-dressed and quartered for the hunter to take either in the hunter’s own cooler or may be taken to processing for packaging and frozen for the hunter’s trip home. VII. Arrangements can be made to take hunter’s antlers and cape to a local taxidermist for mounting or antlers and cape can be prepared for hunter’s trip home. VIII. Texas weather can vary from 70 degrees to 25 degrees in a short period. Meridian Creek Ranch suggests that hunter bring clothing to match these conditions. Most hunting is from box blinds and tower stands. Hunting is over corn feeders and food plots. Rattling is also productive at certain times. IX. Present deer ratio is 1:1. Only a limited amount of mature bucks are harvested each year. Meridian Creek Ranch is a game-managed, high-fenced ranch with year round feeding program. X. To avoid hassle in airline travel with a weapon, upon request at booking, Meridian Creek Ranch can provide a quality hunting rifle with scope. XI. Every effort will be made to meet any needs of physically challenged hunters. |
